This Missouri City house belonged to an Audubon photographer, and the rooms are packed with traditional furniture and clocks. Twin bamboo bed sets come with a matching cabinet and tables, joined by Pier 1 bamboo chairs, a wicker etagere, an oak armoire, an antique desk with inlay, a leather-top desk, a drop-leaf oak desk, a Queen Anne tilt-top table, and an Italian inlaid game table. Also through the house: 1920s bentwood armchairs, French provincial lamps, wall lamps, a pub lamp, an antique tavern table, an 1800s oak sideboard, oak buffets, a maple dresser, a dresser the seller calls an Alex Creence, a small Italian curio cabinet, an antique vanity with an Art Deco mirror, a leather sectional, a La-Z-Boy recliner, bar stools, an oak hall tree, iron-and-glass tables, and area rugs.
Clocks include a Haller AG mantel or shelf clock, a Texas clock, an architectural slate mantel clock, and a foreign grandmother clock. Glass and the bar run from crystal and decanters to a Culver Antiqua highball set, Depression glass, and pieces the seller lists as Wedgwood and Waterford, plus a brass flatware set and a Norman Rockwell plate collection with wall-plate shelves. Craft and sewing supplies sit with a Brother XL3750 sewing machine in its case. There is a Concova London ukulele-banjo, a Time-Life library of photography and nature, an Epson Perfection V200 photo scanner, a Brother HL-L2300 printer, and a Logitech speaker. Smaller finds include more than a hundred Beanie Babies, vintage ladies' hats and hat boxes, purses and belts, linens and curtains, wigs, luggage, men's and ladies' clothing, hobby horses and stick horses, iron candlesticks, leg planters, plant pedestals, and small kitchen appliances.
Outside are outdoor metal chairs, rocking chairs, a birdbath, stepping stones, cement benches, pots and plants, a chiminea, strawberry pots, plant hangers, garden decor, and an aluminum jon boat. The seller is holding more than one weekend so shoppers can reach a two-story garage. Watch for those later dates once this part of the house is underway.
