This Cypress sale in Lakes of Rose Hill is built around mid-century modern furniture and a jewelry and art studio. Labeled furniture includes a Poul Cadovius modular wall unit, a Danish modern teak console by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Faarup, a teak bar cabinet, a teak magazine table, a Mersman end table, a mid-century secretary with hutch, a circular dining set, a metal-leg credenza, and accent chairs. Newer pieces sit alongside them: an Ashley Porter king panel bed, a Cindy Crawford dual power reclining sofa, a Herman Miller Aeron chair, a Hooker Brookhaven computer desk, a queen Murphy bed chest, and aluminum patio seating.
The studio side includes a jewelry-making bench, soldering and casting tools, a MEEDEN H-frame easel, an Evenheat Studio Pro kiln, and a Lortone lapidary unit. Art on the walls includes an original abstract by Pequito, a Danielle DeWitt-Hinners watercolor, a Mediterranean street scene by Max Vidal, nautical prints by J.S. Sneddon, and an Erté foil poster. Also set out: an Aria classical guitar, a Luna banjo, Apple iMac computers, a Sony Bravia television, a KitchenAid Professional stand mixer, a Whynter dual-zone wine cooler, Corelle Winter Frost White dinnerware, a Celestron telescope, and closet apparel.
Items are sold as-is and are not promised to be in working order. A crew member may let you test whether something powers on. Small items carry blue tags. Large items carry white hang tags; remove the bottom portion and take it to the cashier. Other prices are on the rack card. The crew must price-check every purchase, and outside tags or markings do not count. To hold a piece you are buying, ask for a sold sticker, add your name and phone number, and stick it on the item. Do not gather things to decide later. Put unwanted items back, or give them to the crew. Staff will not help move large pieces during or after the sale, so bring your own labor. Pickup has to be finished before the sale ends. Packing supplies and a gift-wrapping table are available after checkout.
Do not park in the driveway. Obey posted signs and leave driveways, mailboxes, and fire hydrants clear. Large bags, purses, food, and drinks stay in the car. Prices are not quoted ahead of time, and there are no pre-sales. Cash, credit, debit, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. Anyone claiming a tax exemption must show a Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate, Form 01-339, before paying. A blank form is available if you need one.
