This Westfield sale in Katy is built around original art and rooms that are still furnished. Among the pictures are a Louis Icart etching, La Tombe Romantique, an Abstract Expressionist oil, an original oil of a great egret, floral and garden oils signed AP, a marsh landscape, a seascape, a Michel Delacroix street-scene print, and a vintage black-and-white print of a London street.
Seating includes an upholstered accent chair, a spindle-back entry bench, a metal-frame futon sofa, a slipcovered three-cushion sofa, and a La-Z-Boy recliner with ottoman. Case pieces include a mid-century two-drawer nightstand, an IKEA Hemnes six-drawer dresser, a writing desk with hutch, a dark-stained open bookcase, and a federal-style bow-front chest. A wire-frame lamp with an orb shade, a vintage mesh patio chair set, kitchenware, bakeware, and small appliances are in the mix, along with a General Electric refrigerator and a FoodSaver vacuum sealer. Outside, look for planters, garden tools, and a Scotts Turf Builder spreader. Smaller finds include a floral fabric sewing basket, an antique Brussels duchesse lace collar, and books.
Everything is sold as-is and is not guaranteed to work. You may be allowed to test whether an item powers on. Smaller pieces wear blue price tags. Larger pieces wear white hang tags: tear off the bottom of the hang tag and hand it to the cashier. For everything else, use the rack card. The crew must price-check a purchase before it can be rung up. Tags or markings from anywhere else are not accepted.
If you want something held, ask a crew member for a sold sticker, write your name and phone number, and put it on the item. Do not set pieces aside and then sort through them while you decide. If you change your mind, put the item back where you found it or hand it to the crew.
The crew will not move large items during or after the sale. Bring your own help. Everything you buy has to leave before the sale ends. Packing materials and a gift-wrap table are available after you pay. Leave large bags, purses, food, and drinks in the car. The driveway is not for parking. Follow posted signs, and do not block driveways, mailboxes, or fire hydrants. There are no pre-sales, and prices are not given out beforehand.
Cash, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. Tax-exempt buyers must show a Texas Sales and Use Tax Resale Certificate, Form 01-339, before payment. If you do not have a copy, the crew will give you a blank form to complete.
