The same family has lived in this mid-century Sharpstown house since 1959. The client's engineer husband designed the home. She spent years working at Williams Sonoma and has painted since the early 1960s, and a large share of what is for sale is her own work: florals, street scenes, church studies, and smaller landscapes. More pieces may be added as the house is set up. The cone fireplace is built into the house and is not for sale.
Costume jewelry is grouped in lots of necklaces, clip earrings, drops, and mixed metal and bead pieces. The rooms also hold glass, small furnishings, and household goods from a long residence. In the garden, a turquoise metal bench sits with matching side tables and a plant stand.
