For more than fifty years Paul and Grace built a home around family stories, gardening, birdwatching, Cat Spring farming, hunting trips, Scotland travel, and long stays at Claridge’s in London in the 1970s before moving to London in the 1980s (Flat 8, 5 Grosvenor Square). Expect pieces that reflect an adventurous, well-traveled household.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, volunteer, and lifelong learner who made a family life in Houston with James Earl Crowther. A 1948 Boardman High School graduate and 1952 Ohio Wesleyan University graduate, she married James in 1953 and supported his military, legal, and business career while raising their family. She loved the news, embroidery, tennis, whimsical treasures, and traditional American design, and supported Houston institutions and her Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
