In-Home Estate Sales

For clients who can host the sale at their property, Nostalgiana handles the full setup: organizing, cleaning (if needed), staging, and pricing every item before opening to the public. The team also offers in-town moving and complete clean-out services alongside the sale itself.

Once a client decides to hire them, the process is hands-off — Nostalgiana sets the sale date, accesses the property the week prior to stage, brings supplies, takes photos for advertising, and posts signage where HOA rules permit. Photos and advertising are distributed across multiple channels.

Offsite Estate Liquidation & Consignment Store

For clients who can't run a sale from their home — whether due to HOA restrictions, tight deadlines, or because they only want to consign select items — Nostalgiana operates its own offsite consignment store. The store is centrally located in Houston at BW & Westheimer Rd.

Post-Sale Options

Nostalgiana offers several options for handling items remaining after a sale; specific paths are discussed during the initial consultation.

How the Process Works

- Free consultation and walk-through with no upfront cost

- Fee structure: percentage based on the proceeds of the estate sale

- Setup window: access to the property typically required the week before the sale

- Advertising: photos taken on-site and distributed across multiple channels, with signage where HOA-permitted

- Accounting: approximately 72 hours to complete after a general estate sale

- Payout: the client receives a check for their share of the proceeds, accompanied by a copy of every receipt written during the sale
