This downtown Houston high-rise sale is built around luxury finds and eclectic household treasures. Shoppers are asked for unit 920 at the door. Jewelry and other valuables are not left in the home before opening, and they are taken off the premises at the end of each sale day. Cameras run around the clock, overnight security stays on site, and undercover security patrols both during the day and at night.
Free parking is part of the plan. On Saturday, use the lot at 2020 Travis, off Gray Street just past Travis. A free guest lot is also in the alley: turn left off Travis while heading toward Pearce Street, buzz the doorbell, and say you are there for the unit 920 estate sale. After parking, walk across Travis to the garage entrance of 2016 Main to enter the building.
On Sunday, street parking is free on Gray Street directly across from the building and on the next block of Gray when you are driving toward Smith Street. That same stretch can be used on Saturday, but the meter has to be paid.
Cash is preferred. Zelle and all major credit cards are also accepted. Digital payments and credit cards carry a 3 percent surcharge. Every sale is final.
Large bags are not allowed. Children may not be left unattended. If you break it, you bought it. The property owner is not liable for accidents, so shop carefully. Staff can help carry small items to a car. Large pieces need either a helper you bring or the movers on site, who charge a fee.
